What We Need:

The Piano Works are looking for fun-loving, passionate, and guest-focused Bar Manager to join our team and family. As a Bar Manager you will have the mixology, cocktail and wine knowledge to deliver an outstanding product and guest experience, whilst leading the team during service. You will have a real pride and passion for what you do, with the ability to build rapport and long-term relationships with guests. You will work closely with the management team to create new and inspiring cocktails and lead the training and development of the bar team.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations and confidently run busy shifts, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.
Be a Team player, supporting your General Manager and team through thick and thin.
Ensure our bartending team are meeting the standards of the company, with their spec knowledge and cocktail making skills.
Act as a role model for the bartending, bar back and floor team.

Skills and Experience:

At least x1 year experience working in a busy bar as a Bar Manager.
Resilient and adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment.
Honest, hardworking and a team player.
Confident, self-motivated, and driven professional.
Methodical and thorough when problem solving.
Approachable at all times regardless of workload.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Some experience organising rotas and managing the bars’ labour margin would be extremely beneficial.
Knowledge in handling stocks, licensing, risk assessments and health & safety.
A hands-on manager who isn’t afraid to get behind a station when your team is in the weeds and smash out a dozen Pornstar Martini’s!

The Piano Works part restaurant/part bar/part concert, and full-on party! The Piano Works are non-stop, late-night, live music venues where nightly 8 skilled musicians interact with the audience and play their song requests. Non-stop live music features from 11:30 to 16:00 for our raucous weekly Saturday brunches, and from 17:00 to 01:00, five nights a week supported by state-of-the-art sound & lighting systems and DJ's from 1am till late.
